Bereavement

Real-time tracking of deaths following bereavement

The Preventable Deaths Tracker’s searchable repository and analytical tools were used to identify deaths of people who have experienced the loss of a loved one in the preceding 12 months, as reported by Sheriffs in Fatal Accident Inquiries (FAIs) since 1999.

This dashboard provides live statistics and trends of bereavement-related deaths, updating in real time as FAIs are published.
