The Preventable Deaths Tracker is run by a tiny team with no core, sustainable funding. Can you support us?
Every day, preventable deaths occur that no one will ever learn from. Life-saving information sits in filing cabinets across the country, meaning preventable patterns remain invisible.
Governments in Australia and Canada provide national data infrastructure to centrally collect information following death investigations, but no such system exists in the UK. So, we made it ourselves.
The Preventable Deaths Tracker CIC is a social enterprise set up by Dr Georgia Richards to harness life-saving information to enable learning and prevention.
Your donation could save lives.
The Scottish PDT was made possible by a donation from the charity Changing Ideas. But we need your support to continue tracking.
If you believe that we should learn from preventable deaths, we invite you to contribute.
